Jordan Applegate

Joined the Voices of Unity in 2002 at 15 years old.  Jordan has served in many capacities at UNITY as a student, leader, staff, board member, and alumnus.  Jordan attended Ball State University in 2005, where he was also a division-1 scholarship athlete (football) and graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.  After graduation, Jordan joined the UNITY staff as the Choral Supervisor, his first job after college, and served for nine months.  Jordan spent four years in 3rd party staffing agency, where he gained knowledge in sourcing talent for various industries and skill sets.  He works as the HR & Talent Acquisition Professional and the Sr. Director of Recruitment at Sweetwater Sound, the nation’s largest online retailer of pro audio and musical instruments.  In 2016 Jordan was hired to manage the Voices of Unity European tour to the Vatican, a four-country and nine-city concert tour for 20 days.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their children, Malachi (7), Judah (5), and Arianna (2).  Jordan is very passionate about music and is actively involved in his local church (City Church) as a Worship Leader and in the local music community as the lead singer in a ’90s R&B cover band.  Applegate is a proud alumnus and board member of the Unity Performing Arts Foundation (UPAF), where he received artistic, leadership, and character development as a teenager and attributed much of his leadership and artistry to his time in UPAF.
